This weekend Bridget and I competed in a partner competition at CrossFit 2A in Acton, MA.  After 4 WODs we ended the day in 3rd place.  On the way home we discussed how much fun we had- competing is a great way to test your fitness and force you to be honest with your strengths and weaknesses when training.  It also pushes you outside of your comfort zone, and ensures that you are upholding standards in all of your movements.  I encourage everyone to try out a competition at some point in the near future… as it happens registration for the CrossFit Open begins this Wednesday!  We’ll be talking about it more at the gym, but it’s a great chance to compete right at CrossFit Hyannis while comparing your scores to CrossFitters from around the world.  Last year we had great participation, and hope to have the majority (ALL) of our members officially participate this year!  Check out  The CrossFit Games Website for more information, and get PUMPED!
