Another Week in Paradise

And so begins another week in Paradise!!!

5 Rounds

400m Run

15 Overhead Squats (95/65)

Day after day at the gym you undoubtedly hear me addressing the standards for movements, correcting questionable form, and encouraging athletes to hit full range of motion, depth, etc. This isn’t because I like to yell at people and always tell people what they’re doing wrong… In CrossFit we believe that holding each other to the highest standards is important. The primary reason is for safety and your health- doing something with poor form is a recipe for disaster and injury. But it goes beyond that. One of they many joys of CrossFit is that it is a community of people that believes that you are capable of great things. Perfect form, better movement, heavier lifts, better times, and the list goes on and on. Don’t get discouraged when a coach corrects your form or encourages you to “get lower” or “lift heavier.”

You are stronger and more capable than you realize.
