We will be doing this workout today to honor and remember Martin Richard, age 8, who was killed on Monday in the Boston Marathon bombing.  As we try to come to grips with what happened in our beloved Boston and see the grief that so many are experiencing, we offer this workout as a way to remember and honor Martin.

This Sunday at 10:30 we will be doing the workout “Marathon Monday,” put together by CrossFit Southie, to support all of the victims.  Everyone who can is encouraged to come and workout, and if you can make a donation you can do so at the YouCaring Website or bring a donation to the gym.

The “Marathon Monday” WOD we will be doing this Sunday is:

“Marathon Monday”
5 Rounds
4 Squat Clean and Jerks (185,135)
15 Chest to Bar Pull-ups
13 Burpee Lateral Jumps
After 5 rounds are complete:
800m run

Your time is your total time for all 5 rounds plus the 800m sprint
