“Built on courage, on imagination, and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand”

This quote was first uttered by Harry Truman about the United States of America.

But it also aptly describes what goals and dreams are built on.

One must have the COURAGE to set big goals, to speak out loud their hopes and dreams into an often skeptical world, and to boldly face the fear and doubts that creep in along the way.

One must have the IMAGINATION to envision a future self who has reached the goal and have the confidence, tenacity, and discipline to work toward that goal tirelessly even on the days where the reality of the work that lies ahead seems overwhelming.

And perhaps most importantly one must have UNBEATABLE DETERMINATION TO DO THE JOB AT HAND. Life is not easy, and when you are striving each day to chase down greatness there are going to be obstacles, challenges, and doubts along the way. But you have to stay committed to the process and keep showing up with determined, dogged discipline to do the task at hand.

Build your goals and dreams on a solid foundation, and commit to the process and work needed to do to reach them. You’ve got this.
