RUN TO THE TOP- May 4th!!!

On May 4th CrossFit Hyannis will having a group do the Run to the Top in Provincetown, MA.  Check out the Run to the Top website for more information and to register.  There are registration forms at the gym.

ABOUT RUN TO THE TOP:

The 5th annual Run to the Top to Benefit the Cape Cod Firefighter/EMS Cancer Relief Fund is on May 4th.

The Run is a micro chip timed run to the top of the Pilgrim Monument to benefit the Cape Cod Firefighter/EMS Cancer Relief Fund.

The monument stands 252 feet, 7.5 inches tall and rises 350 feet above sea level. The Monument consists of 116 stairs and 60 ramps. Most runners complete the run in about 4 minutes. The Pilgrim Monument is the tallest all-granite structure in the United States.

The event starts at 2pm with a walk to the top of the Monument. People who would like to walk have the time to be a part of the fundraiser from 2pm till 3:30pm. This is not timed and no awards will be given for walking. Then the Run begins at 4pm. The Firefighters will begin the event with the other categories to follow.  Categories are: firefighter, EMS, smokey bears, police, scouts/adventure & civilians.
