Joe Ames, winner of the CrossFit Games in the Masters 50-54 age group in 2015 will be at the gym next Monday, September 11th at 6:30pm to give a talk on his experiences.

Joe is a father of 4, VP of Sales at ’47 and avid CrossFitter.  He has gone to the Games two times and qualified three times (he declined his invite this year after qualifying).

He will be sharing about his experience training for the Games, balancing life, how he handles nutrition, and the role that supplements play in all of that.

He will be joined by Laura Thompson, who finished 93rd in the worldwide Open this year in her age category.  She will discuss how she made the decision to commit to training and nutrition and move up over 600 places in the Open in one year- all while balancing family and work.

Both Joe and Laura use Isagenix products as part of their training and recovery protocols, and although they will mostly be discussing their training experiences there will also be an opportunity to learn about what they use and make purchases if you’d like.

As a gym we will now be partnering with Isagenix to provide our members access to some of the best supplements and weight management products on the market.  The standards of Isagenix products are “Quality and Integrity” and they select the highest quality ingredients for all of their products, which are backed by science.  In the weeks to come there will be more info at the gym, and you can ask Katie or visit www.kfalfun.isagenix.com for more info.

*There will be no 6:30pm class on Monday, September 11th- come listen to Joe Ames!
