This workout is being done by CrossFitters worldwide to raise funds and awareness of the project “Hope for Kenya.”  If you get a chance, please take the time to watch the video below about the CrossFit initiative of Hope for Kenya- it’s worth it (you’ll even catch a glimpse of Jason Khalipa dancing). If you are able to donate you may do so at the gym or on the CrossFit Hope for Kenya website.  Every little bit helps.  Our goal as the CrossFit Hyannis community is to raise enough money to build a water cistern in Kenya to provide this much needed resource to the people there.  As of right now we have raised $900 of the $3500 we are hoping to raise.  Let me say this again- CrossFit Hyannis has the ability to raise enough money to build a water cistern and change the lives of a whole village.  That’s a pretty amazing thing, and something I’m glad to be a part of.  Let’s make this hope a reality.

 

THE CLASH ON THE CAPE IS THIS WEEKEND!!!  Come support our CFHY athletes and all of the CrossFitters who will be competing.  It will be at CrossFit Hyannis on Saturday (9-4ish) and CrossFit Rumble on Sunday (9-4ish).  This is a great chance to come support our CrossFit Hyannis athletes, be part of the amazing CF community, and have some fun.  Hope to see you there!  (There will be no open gym this weekend due to the competition).
