5 Rounds
9 Thrusters (95/65)
9 Pull Ups


“One who grunts, drops weight” GOOD THING WE DON’T HAVE A LUNK ALARM!


This may shock some people out there, but it’s okay to grunt, scream, shout, and make various other odd noises while lifting… it may even mean you’re actually exerting yourself (which is a good thing).  In your attempts at a “heavy single” thruster today- GET AFTER IT, even if that means grunting- I promise you won’t get kicked out of the gym.

Some athletes who value a good grunt while lifting:

I grunt… may be why I’m single- but at least I got a PR. :)

The point?  Don’t be afraid to push yourself.  Success lies at the edge of our comfort zone.  Are you willing to go there?
