“The 2000m Row is the test to end all tests. It’s just you, one on one, against the machine. Your goal: To go As fast as you can and leave everything on the table. A good starting goal for this is to get a sub 7 minute. In my opinion a truly good workout should not only test your physical limits but also test your mind. If you do this workout right then during it you should think four things. The first thing you should think is ‘I’m not going to make it,’ the second is ‘I want to quit,’ the third is ‘I want to die,’ and the last thing you should think is ‘I’m going to die if I keep going.’ That’s the effort required here.
